This tutorial explains in a detailed 13 easy step-by-step procedure on how to install Windows 7 using the Windows 7 installation CD.

 Before you start this procedure.

1. Make sure to back up your data: First, make sure there is absolutely NOTHING you cannot afford to lose on the drive you're going to install Windows on (let's say the C: drive.) 
2. Make sure your network cable is unplugged from the wall (to avoid getting viruses from your local area network). 
3. You have a Windows 7 installation CD with a valid Product Key.
4. Hardware driver discs that shipped with the PC and any components you added on (Optional, but VERY strongly recommended) 
5. Time & Patience (you need to be calm and give the setup a little time) 

To remove all hyper-links form word file at once:

Step 1: Select all text by pressing Ctrl+A and then press Ctrl+Shift+F9 all hyper-links will be removed at once.

Word 2013 comes with its own dictionary, with which it checks your spelling. You have the ability to keep on expanding the dictionary just as a person does to his/her vocabulary.

What is a template? Well, A template is a document type that creates a copy of itself when I open it.

For example, I use Fishbone Diagram document that is written in Word or Company Time Record document which is written in Excel quite often. Instead of creating the structure of the document from scratch, I can use the template with predefined page layout, fonts, margins, and styles etc. All I have to do is open the template and fill in the text and the information that is specific to my document. When I save the document as a .docx file, I save  document separately from the template on which it is based.

In order to save a file as a template just follow the simple steps provided below:

In this post I will show you another way you can restrict users from doing any type of editing and formating in a word document. The restrict editing feature is available only in Word and Excel. Pleases follow the simple steps below:

Step 1: Open a existing document in Microsoft Office Word 2010 and click the File Tab

WinRAR is a powerful archive manager. It can backup your data and reduce size of email attachments, decompress RAR, ZIP and other files downloaded from Internet and create new archives in RAR and ZIP file format. You can download the trial version of the software at www.rarlab.com

To compress large file using Winrar follow simple steps given below:

Step 1: Select and Right click on the file you want to Compress and select Add to Archive option.

You can add Watermark to mark your document as private, confidential, or write any text/picture which informs about the usage & credibility of the documents when printed. To apply watermark to your documents follow the simple steps below:

Step 1: Open Microsoft Word 2007 or 2010 program on your computer
Step 2: Click on the page layout ribbon & click on Watermark


Now from Watermark option, select an appropriate watermark to apply it over (for this example I have chosen DO NOT COPY 1)

Here is another way you can achieve the same thing in a different way. This way you can not only stop anyone from opening the document by restricting it with a password but also set a password protection so that the document can not be edited.

Step 1: Open Word 2010 document and click Save As.
