How to Turn On YouTube Dark Mode on Android

Here's how you can turn the Dark mode on and off on the official YouTube app on Android smartphones.

Step 1: Open the YouTube app and tap your user icon in the top-right corner.

Step 2: Tap the word Settings.

 

Step 3: Tab the word General.

Step 4: Find the words "Dark theme" and toggle on the switch to its right.

 

For Android 10 (or newer) users: ​

Step 1: Select your profile picture 

Step 2: Tap Settings .

Step 3: Tap General.

Step 4: Tap Appearance.

Step 5: Select "Use device theme" to use your device's dark theme setting.
