Happy New Year

Wishing you all peace, love and happiness for 2010. Make it count! Make it beautiful!
A good news for all the parents out there. Don't waste hours looking through websites trying to find the ones that are kid-friendly. Today I came across a search engine just for kids called KidRex While no filter is 100% accurate, this is a great place to start.
KidRex

KidRex is basically a kid friendly front-end for Google searchers that uses Google's SafeSearch technology to filter out child-inappropriate content. I hope that all the parents and teachers start using this search engine on top of all the firewalls. It's a great way to let the kids use the good side of the internet.
Zamzar is a free online file conversion web application that can not only convert videos off the Internet to AVI, MPEG, 3GP, MP4, MOV, etc, but also converts between audio, image, and document formats. Paste the URL into Step 1 and then convert the file to your favorite format.(It emails the video)

ClipNabber allows you to download videos from YouTube, Metacafe, etc by simply copying and pasting the URL. You’ll then get a link whereby you can download the file to your computer, iPod, iPhone, or any other media player. You’ll need to have an FLV player for the YouTube videos. Quick and very easy to use!(It doesn't convert videos and you also need Java installed on your computer to download.)

I have been using Firefox for about a year now. Before I switched to Firefox I was using IE. I thought IE was the best internet browser because I was comfortable using it. I tried different browsers but they just didn't fit my needs. One day I was reading a blog and found out about Firefox. At first I didn't pay much attention to it but then when I started reading people's comments I just had to try it. Well since that day I have never looked back. I love my Firefox browser so much that today I thought why not share some information I know about Firefox to the world.

So here is a tut on how to speed up your Mozilla Firefox browser. (For DSL and Cables users only)

First of all your going to need Firefox browser. If you don't have it installed already then you can follow this link. CLICK ME

Hello Everyone!

I have finally decided to start blogging seriously. I was blogging before but I wasn't serious about it but now things have changed. I really like the concept of blogging. Its a great way to get your thoughts and opinion out in the world. It is also a great way to help out in the world 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and occasionally become famous and actually make some money from it.

The influence of blogging is overall a very positive force in the media. Garrett M. Graff

My Goal:  To educate my readers

Blogging is a free flowing means and free to consume mode of educating your readers. Just like the bloggers write at their paces, the readers have the freedom to choose and learn the stuff that he/she wants. Hence, providing free education is the next most important benefit for me.

(This is not just about the literature in the form of blog posts, but includes the free consulting help that you give via email, twitter, IM etc)

I am also hoping to attract people from the other part of the spectrum to write comments and let me know what they think of the topics I am posting.

Wish me luck :)
